Installation Instructions

Windows

  1. Download the Setup .exe installer
  2. Double-click to run the installer
  3. App installs automatically and opens
  4. Find it in Start Menu → SyncBooks Desktop

If Windows SmartScreen shows a warning, click "More info" → "Run anyway" (app is not code-signed yet)

macOS

  1. Download the .zip file
  2. Extract (double-click the zip)
  3. Drag "SyncBooks Desktop.app" to Applications
  4. Open Terminal and run:
xattr -cr /Applications/SyncBooks\ Desktop.app

Required because the app is not yet signed with an Apple certificate.

Linux

  1. Download the .deb file
  2. Open terminal in download folder
  3. Run:
sudo dpkg -i syncbooks-desktop_*.deb

Then launch from your app menu or run syncbooks-desktop
