Installation & Setup

Welcome to SyncBooks! Follow these steps to get your account up and running.

Before you start: Have your EIN, business address, and bank account information ready.

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Visit syncbooksapp.com/sign-up
  2. Enter your email address and create a strong password
  3. Verify your email by clicking the link sent to your inbox
  4. Complete the two-factor authentication setup for added security

Step 2: Choose Your Plan

Select the subscription plan that best fits your business needs:

  • Starter (GHS 150/month): Perfect for small businesses with up to 10 users
  • Professional (GHS 350/month): Ideal for growing companies with up to 50 users
  • Enterprise (GHS 600/month): For large organizations with up to 100 users
  • Custom (Contact Sales): Unlimited users and all modules included

Step 3: Complete Organization Profile

Provide your business information:

  • Legal business name and DBA (if applicable)
  • Business address and contact information
  • Employer Identification Number (EIN)
  • Business type (LLC, Corporation, Partnership, etc.)
  • Industry classification

Step 4: Set Fiscal Year

Configure your accounting period:

  • Choose fiscal year start date (typically January 1 or July 1)
  • Select accounting method (Cash or Accrual)
  • Set default currency (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.)
  • Configure time zone for accurate reporting

Success! Your account is now set up. Next, configure your chart of accounts and payment methods.
